I explained back that Apple's free iPhoto software can easily do it as well. This started the Microsoft vs Apple conversation. Meanwhile listening to my "Windows using" wife tell me how easy it is with Microsoft's free photo editor.

Real quick turned into a long process of trying to figure out how to get two 4圆 pictures per page. I said "sure, I'll print them out real quick". To explain, this whole thing started because my wife wanted me to print some pictures for her to take to a reunion.
I guess the end result is that I can get it done, so I shouldn't complain. Like the other suggestion, this is a process that takes much more effort than iPhoto or other photo software packages where you simply select pictures, select size and print. Basically building a book picture by picture. Now I select my pictures and drag them into each cell. I created a new book and set up the pages to display the way I want. I tried it and can get two pictures per page. I upgraded but didn't use this part of the program before, so I can't tell if this is due to SL or just the way it always was. I heard some people complaining Aperture slowed down when they upgraded to Snow Leopard. Is this normal when you have multiple pictures selected? I had about 6 pictures highlighted. With every tweak of the preset settings, I get the spinning color wheel for about 10 seconds.

This setup is very slow on my MacBook Pro 2.6GHz. Is the Contact Sheets as good a quality as a Single Image print? Normally Contact sheets aren't meant for quality, final prints. I noticed that Single Image presets have more resolution and quality options. I can only get this method to work as a Contact Sheet Preset. I discovered this same solution playing around with the application but it seemed like this was a lot of work and there should be a simple way. Finished this page with a picture of my handsome husband.I was hoping for an easier "out of the box" selection. A little more trouble than I would typically go to for an average weekly spread.but I was willing to go the extra mile to document this trip. Their suits come as a separate stamp and I decided to gold emboss them to tie in the subtle gold throughout the spread. The swimming ladies are stamps, also from Life Love Paper. I spelled "this" using the green alpha sticker set from the June Studio Calico documenter kit, and dotted the "i" with a geo tag from Liz's sticker set. The small embellishments on that photo are a trimmed card from the SC set and a chipboard sticker from the Project Life everyday sticker set from Liz Tamanaha. I printed these at home on my Epson PM-400, by formatting it in Photoshop as a 9x12 photo and then printing two 4圆 pictures that overlap. The three middle photos are one picture trimmed to three 3x4 inserts. The purple alpha stickers are from a past Studio Calico kit. I recently discovered her stamps and really like them. I kept the title card for this spread consistent with the other days from our trip to Italy: a date stamp and the "Italy // Day Four." The "views for miles" stamp is from Kerri Bradford.
